    • Easy idea to make it straight: Get some black foam/wood-block, affix it to the wall so the bottom of the case is resting against it and holding the bottom 'out' so things stay straight.

  • If you want something to hang really flush with the wall, look for something called Z- Bar or french cleat. Essentially, they are 2 pieces of metal (you can cut them to size). One is nailed to the wall, the other on the object, i.e. PC that need to be on the wall. They interlock and the piece on the back of the PC will slide into the wall piece. Each piece has multiple holes, one or more might be on the stud. Even without studs, the multiple holes will provide enough traction to hold objects up to over 100 lbs securely These are used by art galleries to hang huge pieces of arts, very large heavy mirrors, etc. (I used to be in the business and we used them a lot). You find them at Amazon by the way, PS: The only piece of the puzzle, how to attach the metal piece to the back of your PC, but I am sure you'll find a way. Good Luck Paul

  • The 8-pin EPS and 8-Pin VGA/PCIe are keyed differently on the component/mobo side. They may be (and usually are) keyed the same on the PSU side. For the most part, those set of 8 pins have same wire gauge/length requirements and same set of pinouts, just in a different order. You should be careful about it. I make custom sleeved cables myself and have a background in electrical engineering.

    DougCubeDougCube22 hari yang lalu
    • Some custom cables are too long for the standard gauge. In general, longer cables need thicker gauge. If I had my hands on your custom cables, I would inspect the resistance and connectivity with a multimeter to diagnose the root cause.

Even an L-shaped piece of metal would have worked great and the weight capacity would only be limited by the thickness of the metal and anchor strength of the studs he used to go into those metal studs. A monitor mount should have never even been a consideration.
